Subject: RE: VIETNAM TOUR

Dear Nhung,

Your email arrived before I had a chance to email you to pass on my heartfelt thanks. The holiday was absolutely brilliant. We all adored it so much. It even exceeded our expectations!!! I will be recommending your company to anyone I know planning to go to Vietnam.

Everything was perfect and I would repeat the entire trip again (perhaps with the exception of Mui Ne which was my choice -- not yours! The hotel was good but the town itself not that interesting and it was a long drive to get to there from Saigon. Again, this was nothing to do with you as it was my friends who recommended this. Just in case your other clients are interested I would not necessarily encourage them to go there).

The highlights were probably Halong Bay and Ha Noi (especially the Victoria Hotel!!)  --although the other places we visited (ie Sapa and Hue. Ha Noi and Saigon) were also wonderful --- as were Hanoi and Saigon. All the hotels were terrific.

Most importantly all of our guides were lovely. They were so knowledgeable, there English was excellent and they were so friendly to our children (as well as to Anthony and me!!) Even the drivers were charming. --it was sad saying good bye to each of them.

My only two suggestions for future are:

1. On our last day in Sapa we went to Can Cau market. Can I suggest that you don't recommend this to other clients at the moment. The road from Lao Cai to Can Cau was horrendous as so much work is being carried out. Roads at  the moment in very poor condition and there were lengthy delays because of the road works. It took us over 6 hours to get there --- whilst the market was

fascinating it did not justify the long drive. The other tourists who did this activity before catching the night train to Hanoi  were also saying they would not do it again. I would recommend a day in Sapa to relax instead of visiting this market;

2. Not all of our cars had seat belts. I realise this is not a requirement in Vietnam but people in Australia would probably expect this ---  especially for the long drives. I hope this does not sound too critical --- it is just something to keep in mind for future clients. It certainly did not prevent us from having a brilliant holiday!!!

I hope to return one day with my husband to explore more (He missed out on Saigon which I am sure he would enjoy). I would definitely use your company again. I was raving about your company to a friend I met at the Metropole Hotel in Saigon --turns out that she used your company as well (although a different person) Her name is Amanda Johns and she was travelling in a group of 12 people and also having a wonderful time.

I am so sorry we did not have a chance to meet you in person. We did drop into the office but unfortunately you were not there.

Thank you for all your hard work, your professionalism, and your patience in dealing with all my many questions. I wish we were still there ---- it all went too quickly.

With much thanks,

Megan
