Chua Huong
Situated 62km south west
of Hanoi the Perfume Pagoda is actually a complex of 16 separate halls and grottoes amid a craggy karst landscape. Reminiscent
of a Chinese ink painting it is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Vietnam, attracting both domestic pilgrims
and international travelers who reach the site on a daytrip from Hanoi. The area comes alive from the 6th
to the 15th day of the first lunar month in a colourful festival that dates back some 300 years.
