Hi everyone,

I have been meaning to write to give you a bit of an overview of our wonderful holiday. We cant thank you enough for the great accommodation everywhere we went. Not one place was disappointing.

Our guides were fantastic, especially Peng in Cambodia who went out of his way to please and assist us. He was wonderful. The others were also fantastic but I think because we spent a very long time with him and we loved Siem Reap, it was just such a  highlight for us all. Dennis has now converted to Buddhism after our fabulous trip to the sleeping Buddha. And all the temples, what can I say !  It was something we will never forget.

The drivers were also excellent everywhere we went. We even learned to keep our eyes open !!!!

We took hundreds of photos and have shown them to family and friends so I hope you will get some good referrals from us.

There is not one thing we would  have changed  or omitted from our trip we enjoyed everything. Even Hayley got into the way of life especially crossing the road in Hanoi and Saigon. She was the first one to work out just walk at the same pace and they will go around you. I must admit I did this only after uttering a quiet prayer. But we made it.

We had some bad luck in Hoi An because I got quite ill with a respiratory infection and that took almost a week to come good but that's just something we have no control over. I would like to go back to Hoi An and look around a bit more. It is a lovely town and the tailor we found was pretty good too!!

Overall we found the Vietnamese people to be extremely helpful, hardworking caring and once you got to talk to them, extremely happy people. Without exception everyone we met was helpful kind and would do things to assist without looking for payment.

Phu  Quoc was a great choice for the end of our stay and we loved the accom their too. We saw the most beautiful sunsets and ate the best calamari we have ever eaten.
